Senator saving cancer patients the pain.

Though Kentucky has a rep as one of the most anti-marijuana states in the entire country, one of the commonwealth's senators has presented a  medical marijuana bill to the legislature for consideration, according to the associated press.
Perry Clark, a Democrat state senator from Louisville, told reporters that he wanted to start boosting the proposed measure far ahead of the next legislative session -- which begins in January -- in hopes that cancer patients could acquire the medicinal plant in time to save them the pain of chemotherapy therapy.
